CE Marking

Since April of 2005, the manufacturers of Chimney Systems have been subject to the requirements of the European Standard EN 1856-1 for the control and the production of Chimney Systems with the CE marking.
The CE marking is, in fact, a guarantee that obliges the manufacturers to produce Chimney Systems respecting chemical, thermal and mechanical safety requirements, tried and tested by an External Notified Institute.
All items produced by the Zinco Group related to the construction of Chimney Systems conform to the European Standard EN 1856-1 and are marked with the CE marking.

The type tests were carried out at the ISTITUTO GIORDANO S.P.A. to ensure conformity of the products made by the Zinco Group and consist of the following tests:

1. Gastightness Test
2. Resistance to heat
3. Resistance to Condensates  

4.Resistance to Water Vapour 

5. Resistance to Wind Load
6. Resistance to Soot Fires
7. Resistance to Compression
8. Resistance to Corrosion
