Technical Data Sheet - Twin Wall

The jointing system is done with calibrated belling where the components are equipped with a groove for the insertion of the triple lip gasket and locking band to secure the joint.
The inner duct, the one in direct contact with the flue gases is made of Stainless Steel AISI 316 5 Dc thick, BA finish and longitudinally welded using the TIG process, to ensure a good resistance to high temperatures and an excellent response to intergranular corrosion.
The insulation, which is the intermediate layer between the walls, is made of rock wool with a density of 90 Kg / cubic meter, 25 mm thick,  guaranteeing a high thermal resistance of the wall.
The outer duct, made of Stainless Steel AISI 304, also fully TIG welded for a perfect seal, ensures a high resistance to weather and a good aesthetic result due to the glossy finish.

APPLICATIONS
Dispersal of the products of combustion (gases, smoke) and ventilation (air).
Indicated for chimney flue systems that disperse the products of combustion of:
• Gas Methane (CH4)
• Oil
• Coal
• Firewood

HOW TO USE
Operation:
- dry (D) or wet (W).
Pressure:
- Positive (P1 = 200 Pa).
- Negative (N1 = 40 Pa).

Operating temperatures:
- Max 200 ° C with silicone gasket and positive pressure
- MAx 600 ° C without silicone gasket and negative pressure.

TECHNICAL FEATURES
- Inner wall: Stainless Steel AISI 316 Thickness 5 Dc BA finish.
- Outer Wall: Stainless Steel AISI 304 Thickness 5 Dc BA finish.
- Insulation: Rock wool thickness 25 mm, density 90 Kg / mc.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 
The Twin Wall System Double wall, to be installed properly, must follow the direction of the smoke.

In order for this to happen:

         1. the "Female End" of the inner component of the Chimney System must be facing up;
         2. each "Female End" of the inner component must be provided with a high temperature resistent silicone gasket with the same diameter as the inner component, placed in its groove.    During installation of the gasket, the tabs must always be facing downwards. The "Male End" of the inner component should be lubricated before it is inserted;
         3. each joint must be provided with a locking band of the same size as the outer component. In applying the locking band, given its asymmetric nature, attention must be paid to the direction in which the diameters are printed;
         4. to ensure the system is stable a base support plate must be installed along with wall support bands every 3 m and an intermediate support plate at an intermediate height equal to 9 m in systems with diameters comprised between 80 mm and 200mm , equal to 6 meters for a diameter greater than 200 mm;
         5. the portion of the flue system above roof level must in no case exceed 2 m. It should be anchored where necessary with a guy wire bracket and steel cables;                                                      6. in the case of an installation that is not vertical (oblique and / or horizontal sections) provide for the anchoring of the flue system to the wall through the application of a wall support band for each straight component or the accessory intended;                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                7. the installation of the whole flue system must be structured so as to ensure that each joint works in compression and never traction.
